The Great Debate -

If you came to this page in hopes of engaging in an argument, you will probably be disappointed. The Great Debate that we are referring to an ongoing discussion that originated with the Gay Christian Network (GCN) and it deals with an issue questioned by countless people.

Does God bless gay relationships? Or are gay Christians called to lifelong celibacy? Two gay Christians and members of GCN decided to write essays conveying their viewpoints and have sparked not only attention but also feedback from readers all over the world.

On "Side A" is Justin's essay; Justin believes that God blesses same-sex marriages.
On "Side B" is Ron's essay; Ron believes that God calls gay Christians to lifelong celibacy.

So why have we mentioned their debate here? We are told in Philippians 2 to "Work out our own salvation with fear and trembling." It is important to embrace the Word of God and His will for your life. Ignoring Scripture or omitting them because they, on the surface, seem offensive is immature (for lack of a better word). Either we embrace the Word of God as truth or we do things on our own. It’s that simple. We want to encourage you to join in their forums and discussion groups and live in the freedom God’s truth will provide for your life as you walk in obedience to Him!
